Job Description
* One of Australia largest contractors * Be part of growing rail team * Dont just work for one of the usual rail contractors This contractor is one of the most successful contractors in Australia, with a huge portfolio in both their commercial and civil divisions and have no intention of slowing down. Their rail division has is relatively new and they require both exceptional alliance and bid managers to manage and win jobs. Rail is Victorias next major boom industry with over USD 12Bn to spent over the next 10 years. With alot of uncertainty in the market at the moment, our client can offer longevity of work and security. The opportunity is here to join a national contractor who have the experience and financial backing, but providing the challenge of growing a business, not just stepping into an already successful team. Not everyone is up to this sort of challenge. As the successful candidate, you will have a very strong background in Joint Venture projects or businesses and will have a proven track record in running and managing a business, or a successful history in bidding for major infrastructure projects. An engineering degree is an advantage but not essential, as is an MBA. Due to the seniority of this role, it is expected that you will have at least 10 years experience in the civil construction industry. You will be working for one of the largest rail and civil infrastructure contractors in Australia, they have a strong pedigree in delivering high value projects. By becoming part of this organisation you will be well placed to gain the opportunity in future to work on other large scale projects in Melbourne Metro area.
