* International Civil Design Consultancy * Technical Leadership Role * Opportunity for Associateship An established engineering practice right here in Melbourne, who are specialists across the infrastructure, structures and industrial sectors, are playing an important role in shaping the civil design of Melbourne. This international consultancy has an established local office here in Melbourne with very real plans to continue growing the company into 2010 and beyond. They currently have an immediate requirement for a Technical Lead Engineer in their Civil Structures team. The main focus of the role would be overseeing all the technical elements of their civil infrastructure projects specifically in regards to bridges, retaining walls, tunnels and rail. You would enjoy ownership over everything from implementing your technical expertise on complex projects, to staff mentoring and managing the successful delivery of these projects. With a Section leader in place, the business is winning work and growing as a whole, but your strong local network and history of working on Melbourne infrastructure projects will be a key to you winning this role. There are very few opportunities for Senior Civil Engineers to step into a role of this significance, offering a market leading salary and benefits.
