* Contracts manager * Innovative global organisation * Construction and rail contracts A large multinational organisation are seeking a contracts specialist to manage their rail and construction contracts. This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative and creative company who are experiencing growth. You will be supporting the implementation of the group purchasing strategy, reducing costs whilst ensuring a competitive edge is achieved or maintained in the areas of supply driven innovation and speed to market. Responsible for delivery of key cost saving initiatives; You will: * Define, develop and implement category strategies and plans to deliver strategic cost reduction. * Set strategies, budgets and savings objectives. * Look for synergies, supplier rationalisation, and collaboration opportunities * Develop, establish and review new and existing supply project related contracts and arrangements * Responsible for undertaking tendering and contract management To be successful you will have experience; * In working on rail or construction contracts * Experience in a contracts management role within a major organisation, preferably in a variety of category purchasing activities * Advanced experience in dealing with terms and conditions * Strong negotiation skills * Project business experience
