Job Description Our rail infrastructure client are actively looking to engage on contract 2 or 3 E&P Design Engineers to be based out of their North Yorkshire offices. Our client are looking for candidates who can demonstrate the following: Key requirements:- -Demonstrable Competence of designing to BS7671:2008, 17th Edition. -Experience of lighting designs and requirements. -Hevacomp or Amtech electrical design software. -MS Office applications. Desirable skills:- -Knowledge of Network Rail GRIP procedures and design interfaces. -Knowledge of LUL procedures and design interfaces. -Experience of DNO applications. -Knowledge of points heating, signalling power supplies and fire alarm systems. -PTS Whilst our client is working within a railway environment, they will happily consider candidates from other areas. Therefore we will not rule out candidates with experience of building services, roads etc• Our client currently as Projects on the WCML, Glasgow and ELR. They are in a favourable position for works on Midland Mainline and towards the end of the year they are confident of winning work (as D&B with our installation arm) on sites in the south. The role will be contract in the immediate short-term for a duration of 3-months with a possibility of rolling on dependant upon performance and workload. That being said they have had people on contract for nearly a year, so continuity of work is there for the right candidates.
