Job Description
Job Description My client is looking for a qualified and experienced electrical engineer as a test witness for MV and HV equipment and power systems. The ideal individual requires strong technical expertise and testing background in HV (110kV/13.8kV) sub station environment. Fundamental broad experience, with a key specialization in MV/HV systems, seen as an essential for overall rail systems integration and interface management. specific rail experience is not mandatory. Duties will include attending contractor testing and attest that the contractor has executed the approved test procedures, ensure the test results are recorded and defects listing during site testing and hand over. Responsible for the documentary evidence that the contractors have completed the assigned tests by way of a test report to be submitted to the client. Candidate essentials, Must have a degree in engineering with substantial experience within railway signaling engineering, experience with multi discipline integration projects, Demonstrate ability to conceive electrical designs to meet requirements of equipment and systems, demonstrate an ability to manage and lead a team in a multi discipline project, demonstrate sound relationship-building skills with both clients and staff and ability to influence and coach others. Middle east experience an advantage, Ideal candidate must have excellent communication and IT skills and a team player. Duration of the contract will be for 10 Months.
