Job Description
Primary Job Responsibilities An opportunity exists in the Southern California area for a project manager with a strong background in rail and transit planning, design and construction. Experience should include management of transportation infrastructure projects of USD 100M or greater. Ability to communicate well with clients, co-workers and project stakeholders is essential. This individual must be willing and able to take initiative to assemble project teams, identify and develop new business opportunities, and mentor junior staff. The individual is responsible for public sector, technical contractual activities on one or more projects of various sizes. The individual is the companys prime contact with the client and as such is responsible for promoting continuing relations. They are also responsible for field construction efforts, design phase services and all subcontracting, as well as participating in all major technical, cost, scheduling and performance decisions. Training and Experience This position requires a minimum of ten years experience as a Project Manager or project related experience. A BS degree is required and an advanced degree and professional registration are preferred.
