Job Description
* Western Sydney * Contract position * Government Organisation This public sector organisation is committed to being a leader in their industry and believes in maintaining an efficient delivery of safe, secure and reliable rail transport. This organisation is looking to employ an Estimator for their rail division. Based in Western Sydney, this is a 6 month contract role. Reporting to the Engineering Project Services Manager, you will facilitate the development of detailed project scopes and estimates to ensure a consistent, disciplined approach to estimating in the Renewals Division. You will perform post project reviews to assess project performance and identify improvement opportunities. You will be technically strong and have the ability to liaise with clients. You understand the importance of estimating and price to win business but still maintaining clear profits. To be considered for this role you will hold a tertiary civil engineering qualification or demonstrated extensive experience within the rail industry. A strong permanent way background, along with NSW experience will be highly beneficial. If you are energetic and highly skilled with a passion to succeed, a competitive rate will be offered to you. This position is available for an immediate a start.
