The role on offer is for a fleet controller/Scheduler to join the team. The role will be supported in a team environment and is responsible for scheduling, directing the coordination and movement of commodities via intermodal transport with a strong focus on rail/wharf movements on a local metro level. The individual will have minimum 12 months proven experience in managing a fleet or scheduling within a transport discipline. A strong focus is on your ability to communicate at all levels within the business andamp; problem solve. The role will also encompass the briefing/induction of drivers, working across various stakeholders to ensure highest level of communication to ensure required outcomes are met. The role will suit individuals who enjoy challenges and are highly organised in planning their day. Transport exposure is preferred with a background in wharf/rail or similar planning experience to apply.
