Job Description
* Fleet Management * Maritime/Port Operations * Sea /Road Disciplines A highly reputable and global organisation who truly understand transport logistics and maritime shipping are now seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to drive the fleet and manage the team into the future. The focus on the role will be your ability to plan, execute and manage load optimisation for both import/export activities via sea/road andamp; rail activity utilising both general and specialised equipment. You will be managing a diverse range of commodities which includes is but not limited to bulk, containerised, palletised cargo, out of gauge cargo, dangerous goods, FMCG and raw materials for both medium and blue chip corporations. To be successful you will be fully versant in OHandamp;S, Chain of Responsibility, MASS andamp; fatigue management, driving laws and highly sought is your experience in working within maritime/shipping and a working knowledge of Dangerous Goods (IMDG). You must have solid exposure and practical hands on experience working with contract/permanent labour costs, KPI‘s and the ability to work across financial budget controls and capital expenditure is highly sought. Careers focussed individuals who are self assured and have proven experience in managing a team of people both directly and indirectly within a similar operation complimented with practical exposure working in a global corporate business structure are highly encouraged to apply.
