Job Description Our client, a well known multidisciplinary contractor operating within the rail industry is seeking to employ a Graduate Electrical Engineer to be based in their South Yorkshire office. The role is to assist the Senior Electrical Engineer in his duties on various schemes and projects throughout the region. The client is seeking someone that is looking for a long term opportunity to develop their skills and career in parallel with the company requirements. This role is designed to help develop the individual to Chartered Engineer status and as such requires someone that is seeking a long term opportunity. The role will be to aid and assist the Senior Engineer in his duties, whilst developing your skills and knowledge in Electrical design, equipment manufacture (testing), installation and commissioning for LV and HV supply and distribution systems, EC&I, SCADA, electrical motor applications and control, including VSC drive systems. It is essential that you are a Graduate Electrical Engineer, ideally with a Masters Degree, and with the motivation to learn and the desire to reach chartered engineer status. It is also essential that you have an understanding of the basics of how a contractor works.
