Job Description
* Deliver Multiple Projects * Sydney Based with Some Travel * Key Position within Global Powerhouse Well known for the build and operation of ports worldwide, this transportation specialist prides itself on its innovative approach and draws on over 150 years of experience across the globe. With new port infrastructure underway in both Sydney and Brisbane they are after an experienced civil Project Manager to take control of the construction process and ensure all works are being delivered on time. Based out of Sydney you will travel interstate to Brisbane regularly and liaise with the main contractors on both sites. A tertiary qualified civil engineer comfortable running projects at USD 50M in value and above you will help with the initial tender stage, liaise with authorities, audit the site progress and ensure overall contractor competence. You will need to have worked with local mid to top tier contractors and any previous port construction experience would be ideal. Types of work you will oversee will include structures, pavement, earthworks, drainage plus minor road and rail. Client satisfaction is your main driver and this shows in all that you do. This is a long term opportunity to not only grow their business in Australia but will also offer secondment overseas down the track to those that are interested.
