Job Description
* Tier One Contractor - Civil and Building * Water Infrastructure Project - Newcastle and Hunter Valley * Permanent Position - USD 85K-USD 110K Package This market leading national contractor has a proven track record of delivering high quality roads, building, rail, water, mining and bridges projects across the country. They‘re innovative approach to construction has seen them win multiple awards for delivering complex projects and is the reason they are one of the most successful contractors in the country. They are currently the head contractor on this water infrastructure project valued at USD 250M which will be running for the next two years. They are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join this team immediately and manage their quality systems across numerous projects. You will be responsible for: * Quality assurance inspections across multiple sites * Carrying our audits on sub-contractors and suppliers * Reviewing and filing all quality documentation * Liaising with managers and the client in relation to project quality You will have: * Over 3 years experience in civil construction * Have a good knowledge of quality auditing and management systems * Have qualifications in quality management or auditing * Preferably have Cert IV in Training and Assessing We are looking for a career driven, self-motivated people person who has the ability to build strong relationships with contacts at all levels.
