* Long term contract role initially * Northern suburns site * Experience in structural building works essential Looking to continue working on major infrastructure projects but on the other side. Looking for an organisation that can genuinely offer you more of a work life style balance but continue to pay a good rate. Our client is currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to run a rail structures project in Melbourne. An engineering degree is a must. The site manager will be will be responsible for overseeing and delivering the project on time and within budget. You will have experience in senior roles within large public infrastructure projects. you will be able to demonstrate a high level experience in construction management, contract management and administration in complex infrastructure projects. Reporting into the Project Director you will be responsible for mentoring and guiding Project Managers, Project Engineers and others in all aspects of rail engineering and construction, and providing advice to senior management on project issues. The project itself is a USD 45m rail structure and requires a candidate with similar project experience. Our client is at the forefront of changing the Victorian transport system therefore requires someone with extensive building ./ structures experience. This is another ground breaking project in the rail industry.
