Job Description
My client is a Globally respected International engineering consultancy who provide design, planning and management services to various sectors. The rail division is experiencing a period of strategic growth due to increase in project work and they now have a challenging opportunity for a senior level rail individual to act as a business unit manager and lead the rail infrastructure division. Role Profile The Business Unit Manager for Rail Infrastructure will have particular responsibilities for: a) Leading the rail sector team and business plan. b) Developing business and growing the business c) Providing a key leadership and delivery role / function d) Front end management e) Establish strategy in positioning of the rail business in Queensland f) Recommending what capability and service offering needs to be developed or brought in to meet client demand. Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will have extensive experience within the rail industry, operating in a operational role with P&L and business development / delivery responsibility. The following are desirable: • Understanding of the Australian rail market • Major projects experience • Proven work winning skills • Proven leadership skills • Engineering discipline • Chartered / Professional Engineer status Salary USD 160,000 - USD 190,000 Aus Dollars + Excellent benefits for the right candidate and the career opportunities associated with a World Class consultancy organisation
