Our client, a world wide leader in engineering, is also one of Australias leading railway and civil engineering consultancies.

Due to securing several major contracts in both the rail and civil infrastructure arena, their Melbourne based design group have an opportunity for an experienced Microstation Drafter to join their team. The award of a USD 5bn rail project, one of the largest to date, has resulted in the need for a number of microstation drafters.

Working within a team of professional engineers and drafters, you will be responsible for utilising Microstation to complete civil works, track design and rail alignment works.

Experience using Microstation and Autocad within civil engineering is critical. A knowledge of rail and road alignments and permanent way as well as signalling or overhead wiring would be highly advantageous. As candidates with this experience are scarce our client is willing to look at those applicants with civil infrastructure experience. Good communication skills and a strong team work ethic are also important characteristics of the successful candidate.
