Right now, were looking for a Senior/Principal Rail Electrification Engineer to join our Systems and Electrical team in our Sydney office

Your duties will include developing, checking and reviewing designs in accordance with project stakeholders standards requirements, providing regular reports and feedback to management, setting up and administer project budget and filing, monitoring design and in project management role, control design costs, ensure reviews, verifications and validations are planned and conducted and certifying that all safety, environmental, construction, commission and operating requirements are met.

To succeed in the role you will have design experience in Traction Power, a working knowledge of Railcorp/QR Standards, 1500VDC substation designs and/or 25kV AC substation designs, Signalling Power Supply Designs, Station Power Supply Design, an understanding of Earthing and Bonding requirements and designs, a knowledge of 11kV and 33kV Power Line design, overhead and underground and understanding of design requirements of transmission line design up to 132kV.

The successful candidate will possess 8 -1 5 years experience in design and engineering within the Power industry, have technical staff supervision experience, experience in a ‘Design-for-Construction environment and have computer literacy and proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of software packages
