Job Description
* Major rail client * Financial package USD 160-170k pkg * 3 year project- client side The construction of a brownfield USD 150m+ rail facility in Melbourne has created the requirement for a senior project manager to oversee the delivery of this project. rail is going through a boom, the kind which has never been seen before, and has became an industry which has become increasingly attractive due to upcoming infrastructure work. Working for the client you will have a team of engineers directly underneath you assisting in the delivery of this project. Project management skills are of the upmost importance, able to plan and coordinate all civil structural works. You will manage the design process, have contract management skills and a history in completing projects. The ideal candidate will have in the region of 8 years experience in the civil or building industries. Due to the seniority of this role, the candidate will have worked for a major contractor in the delivery of civil structural or building projects in the excess of USD 80m. Ideally the candidate will have experience in the rail industry as you will understand the interface management issues, however experience from a commercial builder will be acceptable.
