Its main construction activities include road, rail, ports and tunneling projects, It is a pioneer of many innovative construction, engineering and project management techniques and is recognize as one of the best contractors in its class in the southern hemisphere. The Position: Due to an exceptional order book our client is looking for a Senior Project Manager with a strong highways background to work in their roads business in Sydney, Australia. The candidate must senior construction management experience in highways and worked their way up from engineer, agent into project management. The values of projects our client typically work on are in the region of USD 500m, so major projects experience is essential. You will have worked for one of the top 20 UK civil engineering contractors, such as Balfour Beatty, Amey, Carillion, Laing-o-Rourke, Kier, Costain, Galliford, BAM Nuttall, Colas etc. Our client is looking for candidates with a stable career history i.e. have worked with companies 3-5 years + and have progressed from site engineering, agent to management. Qualifications: Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering Desirable: Chartered Civil Engineer
