Job Description
Job Responsibilities We are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager within our North American Infrastructure division. Ideally this individual will be based in Morristown or Philadelphia, PA. Candidates will provide overall signal and communication design leadership to the signal and communication group in support of major railway and transit projects. Provide quality reviews and senior level technical guidance in a senior project manager capacity. Candidate will provide technical and client leadership on each project assigned. Design and engineering modification, additions, and interfaces for new and existing signal systems, maintain integrality and ensure safety of the signal systems. Design and develops of all aspects of a rail signaling systems. Training and Experience Basic Qualifications * Minimum 20 years related experience in railway signal design, with at least 10 years project management experience. * BS in Electrical Engineering or related discipline required/experience can be substituted for a degree. * 10 or more years of direct involvement with railroads Additional Minimum Qualifications/Preferred Qualifications * Ensure compliance with FRA regulation for wayside signal system and grade crossings. Support implementation of systems with field construction. * Demonstrated expertise with AREMA standards required * Strong communications and interpersonal skills are necessary. * Knowledge of U.S. commuter rail and transit operations * Provide strong leadership and technical guidance * Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with railroad operating staffs.
