Job Description
Job Description Our client, a well known contractor operating within the rail industry is seeking to employ a Senior Quantity Surveyor to be based in the Surrey region working within their Rail Division. You will be a senior member of the commercial team, and will be involved in working on a variety of multi disciplinary railway schemes, with the emphasis on civil engineering works. As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for the compilation and presentation of monthly financial reports and will ensure prompt presentation of all applications for payment. You will ensure that payments are received in accordance with contract terms, and prompt presentation of final accounts. You will also prepare forward work schedules and cash flow. You will be degree qualified or equivalent in a related subject, and will have considerable experience of working within a similar commercial role within the rail industry, ideally for a major contractor. Candidates will have a stable career background, freelance candidates will not be considered for this role.
