Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to work for one of the worlds leading rail consultancies in their Australian base in Perth. You will be working on a 3 year project and the company will sponsor and obtain your right to work in Australia. The senior telecoms engineer position will be considered on either a contract or permanent basis. To be suitable for the position you must have; Experience with mechanical aspects of cabling systems, in particular fibre cables, pit and pipe designs and associated drawings. Solid understanding of fibre optic design Practices and standards. Drivers license. Ability to travel within Australia for short periods of time. At least 5 years experience. A tertiary qualification in civil engineering. Computer literate Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you had; CAD experience. Experience in a telecoms environment. Experience with surveys including GPS plotting and referencing.
