Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to work for one of the worlds leading rail consultancies at their Australian base in Perth. You will be working on a 3 year project and the company will sponsor and obtain your right to work in Australia. The senior telecoms engineer position will be considered on both a contract and permanent basis. To be suitable for the position you must have; The ability to implement the design and delivery of telecommunications systems for projects and bids, within the signalling business unit, with particular emphasis on Mobile Radio Systems. Experience of supervising and mentoring less experienced telecommunications staff. A minimum of 5-10 years relevant experience with particular emphasis on Mobile Radio Communications Systems and networks. Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you had; Experience in Digital Mobile Radio Systems e.g. Petra, p25. Experience in Rail associated Radio Systems would be a key advantage e.g. GSMR. Previous management of contracts with Mobile radio system suppliers would be an advantage.
