With NSW and QLD already having experienced a boom effect Victoria is now set to go through this growth phase.A leading engineering and services company providing industrial maintenance, manufacturing, engineering, transport facilities management and corporate real estate services the position has arisen for another signal design engineer to join their growing team. # The successful candidate will be responsible for the signalling design of the systems and processes in accordance with the project specifications. The candidate must have an electrical engineering degree and also at least one years experience in the Rail Industry with a consultancy or provider. Ideally the candidate shall be a member of the IRSE. Those who do not meet these credentials need not apply. Some of the main accountabilities include; Design and select equipment to suit the contract requirements # Prepare designs with simplicity, economy and sufficient to meet the project specifications # Prepare designs in accordance with the company design process, engineering instructions and quality procedures # Prepare engineering documentation as instructed by the Project Engineer and/or Engineering Manager # Responsible for the design in accordance with the Design Advice Notes issued by the Project Engineer Outwith his own role, the design engineer must have excellent communication skills for internal useage and also when liasing with clients
