* Victorias- Australias rail growth state * Projects all over Melbourne * 4 year project port folio Victoria‘s rail market is going through through a major growth phase and our client is at the heart of all electrical packages of major projects and alliance projects. With workload for the next 4 years they are in a fantastic position to offer job security. Our client is a leading Australian electrical engineering and contracting business. Having been around for over a century, they specialise in major design, installation and operational maintenance solutions in the electrical and communications fields and are a market leader in Australia and throughout the Asia Pacific region. Their current project port folio includes 2 major alliance projects and are tendering continuously for future work. Due to recent growth they are looking to bring on board a Signalling Project Engineer who can assist these major projects and be part of a strong team already in place. The purpose of the role is to provide technical expertise relating to Signal design and installation. Review signal designs and provide technical assistance for the production of complex multi discipline design and / or construction projects. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4 years experience in signalling construction supervision, testing and commissioning of Rail Signalling Interlocking and equipment for rail Signalling, Control and Communications systems for new and altered works. A history of involvement with some of the major contractors is essential which would have allowed for exposure to a wide variety of clients. All applicants must be based here in Australia and have local construction experience. Please do not apply unless you meet all of the above criteria.
