Job Description
* Transport infrastructure projects * Bridge, tunnel, rail & marine projects * Technical leadership role This international engineering consultancy has a first-class reputation across transportation infrastructure design and delivery. They are currently working on some of Australia’s largest road and rail projects and have continued to undergo unprecedented growth. As part of major alliance and joint venture teams they require a proven Senior Structural Design Engineer to carry out technical design and project manage bridge, road & tunnel projects. You will specialise in detail and concept design of road/rail infrastructure in particular bridges & tunnels. You will take a technical leadership role and mentor junior structural engineers while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams. Ideally you will have 7 to 15 years solid consultancy experience relevant to bridges, tunnels and/or marine structures design. Other duties will include preparation of design briefs & technical reports and carrying out site inspections as required. This is one of Brisbanes most desirable positions, providing you with the opportunity to work at the business end of some of Australias largest infrastructure projects. Not many roles provide the platform to progress to a Principal position within a global consultancy and offer this level of remuneration and benefits.
