Job Description
* Work for a leading track maintenance business * Lead the team to success * Work closer to home A civil contractor that works on a number of NSW rail projects requires the services of an experienced Track Superintendent. This position will be based in the Illawarra region and you will be working on projects across Sydney. A full time permanent opportunity is on offer for a candidate that can demonstrate solid rail supervision skills and is comfortable working on a number of track maintenance projects concurrently. You will have been working as a Track Superintendent in NSW for at least 5 years and therefore you are familiar with the Rail Safety Act. You will hold a current RISI ticket. You’ll be familiar with re-railing, re-surfacing and re-sleepering. A confident staff manager, you are able to get the very best from your teams. Communication will be an important part of your role, as you will be managing and mentoring staff on new construction and maintenance projects. You will be managing sub-contractors and problem solving in a busy environment.
