Job Description
* Manufacturing Distribution Role * Major National Business * Competitive Remuneration Package This organisation is a large manufacturing business with a number of production and distribution facilities throughout Australia and New Zealand. The logistics operation is fast paced and services a number of demanding industrial customers that require high volume deliveries within rigid timeslots. This current vacancy exists due to an internal promotion and assumes responsibility for the despatch function incorporating transport allocating and planning. The key performance indicators for this role will be trailer utilisation and on time despatch and delivery. The position is responsible for several forklift drivers, two administrators and has indirect reporting line for up to 20 drivers delivering throughout NSW. The successful candidate will have a transport supervisory career history and will have been a success in previous leadership positions within fast paced distribution environments. It is important that the successful applicant will have good planning and people management skills and a hands on leadership style.
